What we know
A handful of decoded phrases pointing to a place, a time, and an instrument
Pass and Stow are the founders who recast the Liberty Bell after its first crack. The "house of Pass and Stow" is therefore the bell. The "timely shadow" that "crosses in front" is the shadow of the Centennial Bell's hour hand on the Independence Hall steeple at a specific minute of a specific day. The decoded triplets, read in order, give us a place — Independence Hall — and a time — 2:22, read off the back of a hundred-dollar bill, where Independence Hall is engraved with the time 2:22 on its clock. The Founders were Masons. They were also fond of a riddle that could be solved with currency the average American carries.
The Puzzle
Independence Hall. The bell tower. 2:22 in the afternoon. Stand where the shadow falls.
